Life Cycle Assessment

Life Cycle Assessment

Looking for ways to make your products more sustainable? Or do you want to demonstrate the sustainability of your products? Our Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) provide in-depth insight into the environmental impacts of your products, from raw material extraction to waste disposal.

Quick-Scan LCA

Quick-scan LCAs provide quick but thorough insight into the environmental impact of products or services. This insight helps companies identify the main hotspots of environmental impacts, such as carbon emissions or resource use. As a result, quick-scans are an ideal tool for companies looking for concrete tools to become more sustainable. Whether it's product design, process modifications, or service changes, our quick-scan provides the essential information you need to become sustainable.

Full Life Cycle Assessment

Our full LCA take the assessment one step further and provides in-depth analyses of the complete life cycle of your product. In accordance with international standards, a detailed report is delivered, identifying all environmental impacts. By complying with international standards such as ISO 14040 and 14044, a full LCA ensures data reliability and comparability. This is crucial for companies that want to position their products in international markets or need to comply with regulations in different countries.

We comply with internationally recognized standards to ensure the quality of your Life Cycle Assessment:

Environmental Product Declaration

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardized and independently verified document that communicates the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle. These declarations, conforming to standards such as those of the Dutch NMD Foundation or international standards such as EN15804, contain data on the raw material extraction, production, distribution, use and disposal of a product.

The advantage of EPDs lies in their ability to provide transparency to consumers and businesses, and the inclusion of EPDs in national or international databases. This enables consumers and businesses to understand the environmental impact of products in an accessible way. Moreover, the underlying standards guarantee quality of analysis.
